*Classes start Monday, September 21st.  Students must pre-register and pay tuition in advance.  The office will be open for registration Monday –Friday 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM.  Register by contacting Linda Cather at the Mineral County Technical Center office between 8:00AM and 4:00PM daily (788-4240 ext. 13).   Checks must be made payable to:

1.  The staff development center will pay half of the tuition for professional employees enrolling in any class

2.  Students will be responsible for purchasing books and supplies if not included in tuition cost.

3.  Mineral County service personnel employees will pay half of the tuition cost.  (substitutes excluded)

4.  If public schools are closed in Mineral County due to holiday or inclement weather, night classes will be cancelled.

5.  No payment plans or financial aid available for night classes

6.  No refunds will be given for courses less than 10 sessions

7.  Mineral County Technical Center reserves the right to cancel a class if the enrollment is too low to cover costs. 

 

***Mineral County Technical Center offers our high school technical courses to adults in the community during the day.  Classes are free to adults and can lead to certification in areas such as Welding, Automotive Technology, Electronics Technology (CISCO), and Nursing (CNA).  Other classes that may be accessed include Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Marketing and Building Construction.  First priority is given to high school students.  Adult students can be enrolled as space permits.  For more information and application, please inquire at The Mineral County Technical Center or call 304-788-4240.
